Yoga

Private Yoga Session ~ One on One Attention

The Details ~ 

A private session is 60-90 minutes, sometimes 2 hours if you receive reiki during our session. For the first 10-15 minutes we will talk. Tell me how you're feeling, what's happening in your body, mind and your life. Let's share so I can meet you where you are THAT day. 


The Plan ~ 

You will get a customized practice designed for your needs. Each session includes pranayama (breath-work), asana (physical postures), dhyana (meditation), and shavasana (final resting relaxation and incorporation). You can receive full body chakra balancing or massage/acupressure adjustments in an extended shavasana. 


The Design ~ 

You choose the styles of yoga you need to practice. My approach is warming and gentle, centered on alignment, breathing, caring for the joints, and challenging the self and body to hold space for sensing and feeling to notice what is happening and connect the mind, body and spirit. 


The Expectation ~

You will be heard and received. This is for YOU. It's your space for self-care and realization. 

In a private we design a home practice for you, too. You will learn how to continue these practices on your own. You'll receive follow up practices to use as tools at home, work or school that meet your lifestyle. The tools may include morning/evening routines "rituals",  journaling "self-study", reading, physical poses, breathing techniques, mediations or mindful practices.

Yinki

Yin Yoga + Reiki energy healing =Yin*ki

The class includes long, slow, passive holds~3-5mins each pose.  Long holds focus on the release of fascia and connective tissue. We combine yin postures and restorative poses to allow the body to restore. Reiki energy healing is offered throughout to enhance relaxation and release energy blocks in the body so you enter a deeper state of meditation.
